The NKI-Rockland Sample dataset is comprised of several NIH funded studies that share a uniform core phenotypic and MRI research protocol, along with some study specific assessments. A detailed description of these studies can be seen here. This prospectively planned dataset allows for seamless aggregation of core measures across studies, facilitating larger scale cross-sectional and/or longitudinal analyses. A list of the core assessments across all aggregated data can be found here (Link Coming Soon). You can also review study specific measures here (Link coming soon). Please note that some tests and test versions are specific to their intended age ranges. Those are noted in our master list of assessments, for RS1 here and RS2 here. As of December 2019, study codes used for the NKI-RS are the following:
BAS1 (1495 participants have one baseline visit)
BAS2 (93 participants have two baseline visits)
BAS3 (1 participant has three baseline visits)
Longitudinal Follow Up Visits:
FLU1 (491 participants have one follow up)
FLU2 (352 participants have two follow up visits)
FLU3 (23 participants have three follow up visits – Note: Adult Longitudinal Study only – in progress)
NFB (184 participants have Neurofeedback Study visit)
TRT (208 Test Retest Visits – Child Longitudinal Study specific visit – only MRI procedure)
Note: Participant numbers updated as of 09/12/2019
For longitudinal analyses, when multiple baseline visits exist, the appropriate baseline visit for that participant will be the baseline with the highest number (i.e. BAS1, BAS2, or BAS3). If a specific study (e.g. Child Longitudinal Study) is selected, the appropriate baseline visits for the participants in that study will export with the study specific follow up visits. Follow up visits include a subset of the baseline procedures. See details by study below.
Note For old study and visit codes associated with COINS exports before we organized and restructured the system for ease of use (since December 2019), go here. A mapping from the old codes to the new codes can be downloaded from here.
