At the start of the coronavirus pandemic public health shutdown in the spring of 2020, past participant in NKI-Rockland studies, were invited to help us learn how our communities are affected by the coronavirus outbreak. Over 550 past participants completed online surveys and have responded to ongoing follow-up surveys about their physical and mental health and how their families and communities adjusted to the health crisis immediately following the outbreak and in the months afterwards. We continue to learn from the feedback of our NKI-RS community and share these data with the scientific community to contribute to a growing body of knowledge to help people lead healthier and happier lives.
